Philip co-founded New Wave Adventure Therapy (2017) and then New Wave Wild Project (2019) to introduce creative modes of engagement within traditional, professional mental health approaches in Ireland. He is passionate about striving to create truly person-centred and effective therapy. Through Philip’s experience in various professional settings over the past 20 years, he is particularly focused on engaging young people in therapy that meets them where they are at; using outdoor activities in natural green and blue spaces.
Philip is one of only three Adventure Therapists outside the U.S. who is clinically certified by the Association of Experiential Education (AEE), and he represents Ireland on the Adventure Therapy International Committee (ATIC).
In 2019 Philip won the prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year award for Ireland at the European Business Awards (2019) and engages regularly with universities, organisations, and social enterprises through print media, podcasts and lecture contributions.
As well as his major qualifications in Social Work, Psychotherapy, and Outdoor Adventure, Philip continuously engages in further training to extend and deepen his therapeutic toolkit and creative approaches. He is trained in the use of CBT (REBT), and mindfulness techniques for therapeutic practice.

Jasmin integrates her combined training in Education, Psychology, and Integrative Psychotherapy to her client work to create an open, person-centred therapeutic space for individual clients and groups. Delivering her client sessions in the outdoors, utilising movement and natural spaces, Jasmin’s therapeutic focus lies in supporting overall wellbeing through psychoeducation and an REBT framework.
Having a background in adult education, with experience in family learning initiatives, and more recent training in Therapeutic Play Skills (QQI L6), Jasmin’s creative use of play in outdoor sessions approach helps to support engagement, understanding, and learning.
Jasmin delivers Wild Sky (one-to-one adventure therapy) and Wild Spaces (walk & talk) programmes at New Wave Wild Project, as well as managing the day-to-day running of the service. She communicates and coordinates between New Wave Wild Project and participants, parents, carers, multi-disciplinary teams including social workers, funders and community organisations.
Jasmin was the proud recipient of the Innovation in Business (2019), and Health & Wellness (2022) categories at the Connect Kerry Women in Business Awards.
