Small group/ family Adventure Therapy
Wild Fire is an adventure therapy programme, delivered in buildable blocks of 6 and 12 sessions, designed for up to 4 participants who are referred together and is ideal for family therapy. This programme is suitable for a group of participants with a shared or common difficulty that they would like to address.
The participants meets with Philip, our Adventure Therapist for each session which is up to 4 hours together in natural blue and green spaces. The sessions utilise activities, tasks, and challenges on land and water to provide an experiential approach to skill development (communication, negotiation, conflict management, decision making, problem-solving) and practice alongside therapeutic discussion.
These dynamic and effective programmes can help to provide a space for professionally guided sessions in open dialogue between participants towards improved understanding and communication between participants.
