Wild Projects
Our approach to adventure therapy is a blend of integrative, person-centred, strengths-based psychotherapy delivered using experiential learning and psychoeduactional methods.
Each programme is designed and delivered according to the needs of each person, so each programme and session is unique. However, we do build in phases of assessment, therapy work, transferrable skill development, feedback and self-care into our work through tasks, activities, and discussion.
Adventure therapy sessions are typically once a week and are up to 4 hours each.
Our work always takes place in the outdoors, taking in all the benefits of the natural blue and green spaces available to us. We are based in Kerry and invite participants to join us in our specially selected spots locally for sessions. However, we are aware that it’s not always possible, so we are available to travel to blue and green spaces nationwide to deliver sessions, depending on availability, and subject to a travel supplement.
